The games on this site require the Java (tm) runtime environment from Sun Microsystems. If you don't have this installed, you can get it for free at http://java.com.

Simply click on the "Crossword Puzzles" link on the left. The selected puzzle should start up shortly.

To enter a word, simply click on the first letter of the word and type in the characters for that word. If a character you type comes up in red, it is not the correct character at that position. If it comes up in black, it is the correct character.

When all characters have been filled in and are correct, the puzzle is complete, and the timer will stop, showing you the amount of time you took to complete the puzzle.

To move around, use the arrow keys. When you're in DOWN mode, the up/down arrow keys will move you to the previous or next character box. When you're in ACROSS mode, the left/right arrow keys will move you to the previous or next character box. To flip between DOWN and ACROSS modes, simply press the Spacebar.
